charge for calling eu countries

Hi,

Eu regulation states provider can charge a maximum of 5p a minute after 30april2016 for calls between eu numbers (eg from uk to your family in spain) . before 30april 2016 this was 17p.

o2 is charging 150p a minute for calls to the eu while part of the eu. Why is this? And why has this increase so much?

I even have a BT landline with international favourite bolt on....so my call costs are minimal...

There's an international bolt on you can get from O2 too.

Yes I have that international bolt on. ...and actually have never used TuGo to ring from UK to Spain....

My friends all have messenger so I use that more than any other app...(and Skype)
