Hi @freddy1  - the numbers you have to call are all in this Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Try to call before 08:15 UK morning time.

It's possible you were sent an incorrect SIM - but a Pay Monthly normally would need you to have a Contract, whereas a PAYG SIM will come on a card like this, with some "Big Bundle" or "International Bundle" attached, and an activation date:

@freddy1

There is no such thing as classic payg with O2 anymore.

O2 only do bundles on payg.

All you need to do is get your PAC Guide: How to get your PAC [June 2021 Update] if you want to keep your number and get a sim from Tesco or giffgaff who still do the sim you want and both run on O2 network.

Change of mind policy isn't relevant to payg as there is no contract to consider.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
