how do i simply change my mobile number as a friend put my mobile number in a chat room on the internet i want to do this on line but cant seem to chat to an o2 guru live anymore

You will have to speak to someone in Customer Services, I think. O2 will allow you one change of number, but it's probably best to speak to someone and explain the circumstance, rather than try to do it by chat to a guru.

I wouldn't call that a friend, get your one free number change & don't give it to people who give it to people unless you give permission

Just be careful who you give your number to as you will have to buy a new sim card if you have the problem again. Glad it was sorted so quickly for you:smileyhappy:
