I have a tariff-only contract that runs out in September, and which began in 2021, if I cancel this now, would I incur charges and/or have to pay the rest of the contract? Or would there be no charges/payments required since there are only 8 months left?

@ollie9999 You would have to pay off the remainder regardless of how many months are left:

@ollie9999

Check your MyO2 and see if it says that you can upgrade now.

If so, upgrade to a 30 day sim only. Once the upgrade has gone through, you can then give notice to cancel without any penalties.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
