cancelling my contract - can't get through to customer services

Hi

I'm having extreme difficulty getting through to anyone at O2 to cancel my phone contract, which finished in June 2012.  As i'm already on another contract I don't want to have to keep paying two bills every month for any longer than absolutely necessary.

 

Any help/advice gratefully received, as I've been informed it can be done online as well?

It can be done via webchat.  If you go onto the o2 site you'll be able to speak to someone there.  They're very busy too, though, so still be prepared to have to wait a while.

It's funny how you can get through to any other dept v. Quickly but to cancel, I was on hold for half an hour till my phone battery died! Come online and its nigh impossible to cancel again!!

They are probably busy with the recent launch of the s4 & all the broadband business takeover by sky

If you cancel via webchat make sure you keep a transcript of the conversation.
