Hi
I'm having extreme difficulty getting through to anyone at O2 to cancel my phone contract, which finished in June 2012. As i'm already on another contract I don't want to have to keep paying two bills every month for any longer than absolutely necessary.
Any help/advice gratefully received, as I've been informed it can be done online as well?

It can be done via webchat. If you go onto the o2 site you'll be able to speak to someone there. They're very busy too, though, so still be prepared to have to wait a while.
