cancelling contract - virgin

Hi, 

i had an O2 simcard as part of a package through Virgin. The contract term is up, i have never used the simcard, i have know idea where it even is. How do i cancel the contract without receiving a text to that number for verification??

Do NOT cancel your Direct Debit.

If you report it lost, O2 will send a new sim for you to deal with it.
