Why o2 representative asking 30 days notice to cancel airtime on o2 refresh contract when support page suggest otherwise

How much does it cost to end your contract early on O2 Refresh? What do you charge for the leftover Airtime Plan?

With O2 Refresh, there’s no penalty for ending your contract early. All you have to do is pay off the balance of your Phone Plan.

There’s no termination charge for ending your Airtime Plan once you’ve settled your Phone Plan.

All correctly explained here Guide: Cancelling Your Contract

30 days notice no longer applicable.

No penalties.

Pay device plan, get PAC, leave.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

So what mentioned on their support page posted above is incorrect? Link is here

http://service.o2.co.uk/IQ/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,Kb=Companion,question=ref(User):str(Mobile),C...

And this
Early termination charges
Customers on O2 Refresh contracts
If you’re on O2 Refresh, you won’t be charged early termination charges for your airtime contract.

Your final bill will include any out-of-bundle charges you have incurred before termination and, if you terminate your airtime contract before paying off your Device Plan in full, your final bill will also include the lump sum you still owe under your relevant Device Plan credit agreement(s).

What it states is correct.

It doesn't matter what the O2 rep says, the system will calculate the bill accurately.

Yes, same rules apply.

You can upgrade without penalties from a SIM only to refresh at anytime.
