canceling new contract

Anonymous
Not applicable

Picked phone up Friday, and not getting on with it at all, so wish to take it back and cancel the contract. I know they are going to be a tad peed off, but will they demand reasons?

is 'not getting on with it' a good enough reason?

You don't need a reason.
You have a 14 day cooling off period.

How long will it be, before the contract is cancelled?  I presume from when the phone is returned? I havent had any email confirmation yet.

Nothing happens quickly with o2 so it will take a couple of weeks for it all to wash out.
Chase up customer service to ensure the cancellation and return is being processed correctly
