Can I cancel contract through cancelling direct debit please help thank u

No you cannot otherwise you will get black mark on your credit file & O2 will pass on your debt of whatever fees you owe to a debt collection agency

That's what you must do. Call cs on 202 to cancel then they will generate a final bill with any fees you have left to pay

I'm on a o2simplicity contract and it 16 pounds a month I want to cancel so asked  the online people how much it would be and they say £79 and is this right

They are correct in that you still have to pay that. Call cs to pay over the phone or you can go into your myo2 & click on make a payment to pay the full amount
