can't pay contract!

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have just been laid of work because there are not enough 'hours' I currently have a 24 month contract with 02 - started in June 2012 and I pay £33pm. Now I won't be able to pay this until I either get a new job or get on JSA, but over Christmas that is going to be hard. Any ideas what I'm supposed to do?!

Well firstly I am sorry to here about your employment status. Truly sucks at this time of year.

You need to put a call into Customer services ASAP. If you can offer something a month rather than nothing then it will help your situation.

Obviously you will be without service whilst the bill is not being paid

Just remember to not panic and stay calm, O2 will help but not indefinitely.

You could try selling the phone and getting a very cheap one to complete the contract.

I don't think anyone would. Paying £33pm is quite a lot. You get unlimited texts and mins and 1GB of data. be hard to find someone.

I agree it's a huge amount to find, how about a loan from your bank?

I've spoke to o2 i've told them that I should be able to pay this and next month. They just said if I get stuck they will help me out 100%. So I have a while to get back on my feet slight_smile

At least that gives you a while to sort things out, good luck.
