Can I buy the same sort of SIM card as I would for a phone to use in my Huawei MIFI box?

A data only sim will be best for your hotspot device.

Go to shop > pay monthly sims then click on the "mobile broadband" box next to phone and tablet.

@KathM

It must be a data sim for broadband devices as O2 will block any others used in a mifi device.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
