Hello community,

I have just signed up for O2, the offer was £8 monthly. My first bill however is for £7.53 plus £1.50 VAT - i.e. 9.03. What do others think about this?

I find no way of contacting O2 to query it - misrepresentation of prices? I just find myself in a circular set of links.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Rachel

Hi

Your first bill is normally pro rated so that may explain the extra amount

The first bill is always a little more as the bill is produced a couple of days after you get the phone. So you pay a proata amount on top of the month in advance. Next month will be at the agreed tariff. Also there is an annual RPI increase in April which you should have been made aware of.

My original contract stated unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 30gb of data. Just looked at my o2 account and is now telling me my tarrif is for 15gb and ran out within 6 days.
