@dongle try live chat and yes, it's 30 days notice https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/How-to-get-your-PAC-2017-Update/ba-p/1052278

You may need the Edge browser to get live chat active. They will try to get you to call customer service to speak to Retentions so you may need to persist and insist with them.

... and final question (i hope).

I have a new phone and monthly contract with EE and this is the phone I want to PAC my O2 number to.

My partner will inherit the O2 pay monthly phone and might as well carry on using it for the 30 days we're giving notice and paying for.

Am I correct that the best approach is for me to give notice to 02 today and ask for a PAC code today but then not pass that on to EE until towards the end of the 30 day O2 notice period?

Thanks again

Yes correct @dongle if you give it 2 days before the end of the 30 days you should get the best use out of it, but do it by Wednesday to get the change done before the weekend.
