The system may be glitching. Try alternative ways to top up via this link...Scroll down to PAYG

To set auto top up via My O2 you may want to try again later. The website has had problems today

You can also set it up through mobile banking on a monthly basis or call customer service. The website is pants at the moment!

Just a thought. Is this your first time setting up auto top up?

Only asking as it will only allow you 3 cards to attach to the auto top up

Give CS a call on 4445 and they should be able to help you.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Despite O2 encouraging its customers to link all phones to one account it seems payg and pay monthly provide a toxic mix for auto top up. The corporate brain appears to be ahead of the operational backside as I have just spent an hour with the 'chat' guys being told I can only have one O2 phone linked to an e-mail address. Complete flatulence as I can manually top up online from that account AND see all my phones - I just can't set auto top up to work for the payg as I have a pay monthly phone on the same account. Unfortunately O2 doesn't see this as their problem and CS seems to be having a lengthy siesta.

Well I don't have auto top up enabled (so maybe that's the difference) but I do have a mix of contract and PAYG numbers under the same email address......
