Depends on the quantity of texts and calls. There are also sim only deals that give unlimited calls if you make a lot?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

O2 do a Basic tariff but you have to request it via customer services. I think you may find that quite restrictive though.

If you aren't looking for a new phone... then I would go for a sim only contract as suggested

@Anonymous If you're happy with your present phone, try a one month sim only as suggested. It would give you your basics, plus a small amount of data, if you ever needed it. Here is a link to show your your choices. https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/simplicity#/tariffs You'll need to speak to customer service to do this. Just call them on 202 from your mobile. Best time to call is early morning, if you can. You wouldn't even need to switch your sim card, but you would if you went to a Pay & Go tariff.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
