apple watch cellular issue

Hi, i have just ordered a new apple watch 5 cellular arriving, i want to give my partner my old apple watch 3 also cellular, is it as simple as:-

 

1 - me deleting my 3 from current phone and installing the new 5

 

2 - Some how getting partner to make contact with 02 re new watch contract set up for the 3

 

Not sure if the watch is registered to me or if its just a bolt on to my contract that will work with what ever i have take its place?

You should be able to remove the 3 yourself as it's not tied to your account on the system.

Follow the setup routine to enable your 5 and get a data plan.

Your partner will then need a cellular plan for the 3.

Think its the setting up of the 3 with a new contract thats going to be the headache then as been trying to get on 02 via Livechat or text since yesterday evening!

HI, apple watch 3 cellular has lost its connection when away from the phone, have unpaired and paired with no change,

02 still shows all normal their end re E- sim, any ideas or is it a case of starting again as new watch?
