Can anyone tell me how to stop O2 sending me texts.
All I want is to be left in peace to use my phone. I will buy a new one when I want and really findtheir matrketing texts annoying. The one today asked me to actually telephone them to cancel and when I did there was not even an option to stop them.
PS As I never have cause to go to this web site (except to try to stop O2 anoying me), please send any answers to my public email at meshugganahkid**Personal info**

Hi @Anonymous This isnt customer services. If these texts are coming from O2 about balance etc then you need to contact them and ask them to stop http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
If they are marketing texts then go into My O2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 and make sure contact preferences are unticked (Via More box)

Would if I could but I'm not prepared to waste my time telephoning them - I expect that if I do I will end up wasting loads of time on an utomated service then gettikg a low level agent who want be able to do anything.
I tried the chat line but it doesnt weem to work - there really ought to a large DON"T BOTHER ME AT ALL button!
I'd settle for a small configuration button if only I could find it

Have you checked in My O2? That header (with MORE) appears at the top of the page when you log in to your account and access it.
This is what you should see once you have followed the steps above and accessed contact preferences

Good morning @Anonymous, how are you doing?
Just wanted to check if you managed to find the correct place mentioned above in My O2 to manage your contact preferences?
Thanks guys for helping out with screenshots!
