Hello all.

I have a UK 02 number, but I'm currently stuck in Ireland due to the coronavirus and various family issues.

And I now have an overdue account, because my UK debit card has expired. I'm going to order a new one, obviously, but in the meantime I was wondering does anyone know of any alternative method of paying a bill like this?

Ideally, I'd like to make the payment direct from my Irish current account. Would this be possible, does anyone know?

Many thanks for that one, MI5!

Am I right in thinking that if I use my online banking portal, I use these details (c+p from your link)?

  • Bank: HSBC
  • Sort code: **Personal info**
  • Account number: 11245163

Yes, that will work.

Use your account number as the reference so O2 know which bill it's for.

Yes, unfortunately the forum filter continually removes the sort code. However the one in the guide is the correct one.
