all my 50gb of data gone, in 8 days?

hello

this is my first posting here any my first real problem, my contract id for unlimited minutes and texts and 50gb of data .

on the 21 of this moth my data renewed so i should have had 50gb however i was notified to night id used 80% of my data then less then 2 hours later i got a message saying id used all my data , i dont go through all my data in a month in fact i find it extreamly hard to even break 30 gb used and that with my neice online gamming when i go round hers and using the mobile data to tether to my tablet for youtube use.

im extreamly concerned as this has never happened to me and i want to know why 50gb of data has been nuked in 8 days when i usually cant even use 30gb in a month!!.

for the record when im home i use my home wifi and i have all the normal data using systems and apps turned off.

 

any help would be brilliant

@ed2020 what does your MyO2 say http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 ?

If you have a bolt on for extra data you will still get a warning when you use your base tariff data.

Hiya. Still use MYO2 to home in on the day with the big usage. Did you use Personal Hot Spot maybe to let especially a computer to browse?

@ed2020 so does your MyO2 confirm the usage?

What does your phone say has used all the data?

Somewhere in your phone settings it should give you data use by app (I know iPhone has this..... would assume android does too and you haven’t said what phone you are using)

 

This should help you narrow down what has happened. If you cant find an app that has used that much data this month your next step would be to contact O2
