advice please

here is my problem i ported my number from EE when my contract ended and i joined o2 but when i ring or text someone it comes up with a different number than the one i ported. But if they ring me on the number i ported they get through without any problems hope this makes sense

It sounds to me as if the porting hasn't yet fully completed.

if its that the service is a bit slow it was ported on 05/02/15

hmm it sounds like it should of been ported by now...

have you turned the mobile with the o2 simcard off for a while ( 1 hour maby) and then back on to see if that fixes it ?

if not i would ring o2 on 202 and ask them why this is happening..

What phone do you have?

It may just be a case of changing the number in the phone settings.

I think it possibly a try at editing the number in your contacts setting to see if that solves it first or phone cs on 202 to see if the porting has fully completed

It has to be the number in the phone otherwise callers wouldn't get through if the porting wasn't complete.

but if the op called someone and it was a diffrent number ( temp number from o2) but his/here friends can call his/here old number ( the one been transfered over) and get through then this has got to be a problem other than changing your number in the phone right?
