Hi all,
i have been on refresh since the 6s, but unfortunately just discovered a small crack on my screen. Will this effect my refresh options? (Which I plan to take advantage of to upgrade to the iPhone x)
many thanks

Hi @Anonymous Have a look at this. They explain the condition the phone needs to be in https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/o2-refresh-trade-in
Also have a look at this thread where the op had a similar problem in April https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/O2-Refresh-upgrade-and-damaged-phone/td-p/1046213

Hello @Anonymous
If you have a damaged phone this won’t impact your ability to upgrade.
Refresh is a tariff unique to O2 where you separate the airtime and device costs. Because you pay them separately you can upgrade at *ANY* time by just paying the remainder of your device plan.
However, if you are on a tariff that supports the ‘yearly upgrade’, where you can trade in your phone after 12 months and upgrade to the new model, unfortunately, the screen damage will impact your eligibility - You can read the “on us” T&Cs here.
If you want to upgrade to the new iPhone X you can, for example, sell your device privately and pay off your Refresh plan to upgrade or accept the reduced value via O2 Recycle, pay off your device plan and then upgrade.
Thanks a lot @Cleoriff for your help
