I got a new sim at o2 and wanted to keep my old number from three and they gave me a PAC code which I used. All was good but the number I was given was the wrong number. How do I proceed?

@Anish

Are you saying the number that ported in was not your number?

What phone do you have?

If the wrong number has been ported you'll need to contact customer service for them to investigate Guide: How to find help & contact O2

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Yes, the number ported onto the new sim is not the same phone number. However I don’t know if it’s an O2 issue or if three gave me the wrong PAC.

I would check with O2 in the first instance (I'd call rather than use live chat), does your old three SIM still have service and work if you dial your original number?

@Anish

The port should have failed if the number and PAC didn't tie up so call O2 as I suggested.
