Hi

I’ve just switched to O2 paym after being on Tesco mobile for the past 3.5 years! I now have an iPhone XR. Before that I was on O2 and had an iPhone 5.

Did the PAC transfer yesterday and then wanted to use WiFi calling but in my O2 online profile my device is stuck as iPhone 5 and it’s old IMEI. So I cannot turn WiFi calling on my phone. I was expecting my O2 to update automatically overnight to my new iPhone XR but it hasn’t.

Please can my profile be manually updated for my iPhone XR?

@PACman

The number change is the last to appear.

As it is affecting your phone functions, you need to contact O2 to update your account.

All contact numbers are in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

0800 587 4005 seems to get the quickest response time from O2.

They open at 8am today. Best of luck.

Also you can change it in app or online version manually: You have to hit the pencil icon next to the phone name and edit it, @PACman.

Good luck, welcome back to O2.

But that only changes the name tag, not the actual device.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

True, that. D'oh!

A couple of reboots, perhaps as useful. upside_down
