Hi, can anyone shed some light on why my bill is £84 yet I brought the contract from mobile phones direct for £59 a month ?? I'm having no luck with getting hold of 02 and I really can't see how they have messed up so much ?

Was it a cashback type deal (so your monthly tariff is £84 but after cashback is £59)?
What does your bill say the additional charge is for?
Your first bill is often different - see advice below:

@Chippy

It most certainly will be a cashback deal.

You need to submit your claim to MPD at set intervals and they credit you with the cashback.

Check the T&C's of the contract with them.

There was 0 indication on this deal or even any sign of print saying this as I was careful doing this as I didn't want cash back deals so I'm sure it isn't and someone has royal screwed me

Can you have a look at the breakdown of the charges and let us know what the extra is for.Also make sure you haven't been unknowingly put on a business contract.

I even have the emails stating it says if it is a cash back deal or not and mine isn't at all just £59 unlimited everything and 120gb of data so I can't understand why I'm being charged 84 pound a month unless MPD has lied to me
