Wifi Calling?

Anonymous
Not applicable
Well today o2 released an update to the o2 app with a welcome addition of an Apple Watch app, but I do wonder why the tech guys don't release an update to enable wifi calling on iPhones? EE & Vodafone have enabled this feature, am I missing something? Is it because Tugo and Wifi calling cannot coexist? Whilst I like Tugo, I would prefer a native version built into the iPhone. Come on o2 let's have it! 🙂

Makes sense to enable wifi calling for ios as long as tugo is maintained for android.

Hmm duno, I'm with @Anonymous on this. Why make another app that does basically the same thing. Tu works over all three main platforms so, why bother?

The problem is that many iOS users have issues with TuGo. I think they really need to enable wifi calling for iphones like the other networks have done.

We see so many complaints on here about TuGo not working well (if at all) for many iPhone users. It makes sense to provide something else for them if they can't sort Tugo out...

Wifi calling isn't "another app" that o2 have to offer either - it's an integral part of ios that just needs to be enabled to work with o2.

I'm with @MI5 on this, and the main problem is tugo doesn't "work" over the 3 main platforms, failure rates with ios devices is always high due to the closed nature of ios. The fact that tugo is only a work-around means it will never flawlessly work on iPhone
