When using WiFi calling can you call landlines or only contacts on WiFi?

You can call mobiles and landlines. It's totally dependent on your own wifi.

You can use your phone as normal. WiFi Calling activates in low signal areass

WiFi calling works exactly the same as calling normally over the network, including using your allowances or being charged exactly as if you were calling over the network.
Also, it only works in the UK so you can use it to call abroad from UK but not when abroad.

You enable wi-fi calling in the preferences section of your phone, depoending on the model.

I have no idea why they bury the option. Wifi calling exists to get your phone to make and receive calls when there is no signal or a very poor one, so the idea of asking you "Do you want your phone to work when there is no signal?" seems strange.

"No, its allright, I'll just pay money for my phone to sit here and not work thanks."
