My WiFi calling stopped working a couple of days ago and no matter what I did I couldn't get it to work. Live chat said I needed to reset my network settings so I did but still won't work. Called CS and spoke to network services and they said it's switched on so should be working. The thing is that the option to turn it on and off has gone from the phone menu. Any ideas?

Hi @Xperiafan

You may need to call customer services again and ask them to reset your account.

This worked for someone on this thread https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Android/Wifi-Calling-Still-Not-Working/td-p/1145707

Best of luck and welcome to the forum Welcome

@Xperiafan if you have an Xperia 1 they are still working on getting WiFi calling sorted out for everyone.

The service is likely to come and go in the meantime.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Seems odd as it has been working fine since I got it over a month ago

It does happen that the option disappears and hopefully O2 sort it out soon.

@Xperiafan if you have the Xperia 1 this has been resolved now and you should see WiFi Calling and 4G calling in the menus

Well it started to work and lasted a day. This is very frustrating as I don't have a land line anymore

Yeah it appears to be coming and going a lot, not really sure why.

Either an issue they are having on the network side or an issue on the software of the phone. Have you tried bringing this to customer service or speaking to anyone from the network team?
Kindest Regards,
Andrew.
