Just get get a message to contact O2 but when I check the website it’s enabled.

Spoke to CS. They said the swap has finished but it was still provisioning.
Finally started working after 26 hours.

@BuggsUK

May take upto 24 hours to enable so wait until tomorrow and if no good then, call customer service Guide: How to find help & contact O2

I'd contact customer service to check over your account and make sure it's activated properly.

Spoken to customer services and was told the sim is still activating and that can take up to 24 hours, so looks like I can’t use my phone for until then.

Not holding out much hope as she didn’t seem to understand what I was talking about. She said turn the phone off and on until it connects I pointed out I have signal but can’t make calls which when she said 24 hours.

Not impressed

Unfortunately 24 hours is the maximum timescale for everything to come online.

Thanks for your help, will see if it’s working tomorrow. As I said not holding out much hope. Also tried turning off my phone and see if I can receive call on my Apple Watch but that isn’t working either.

So now I can send and receive text and use data but can’t make phone calls.

If I try and call my O2 number it says the number has not been recognised. Also the data plan has been removed from the watch.

Now 10 hours after I done the sim swap.
