@Kyle_197-c

Currently taking around 8 weeks to reply.

If nothing after that you can escalate Customer Complaints Code

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

I have the exact same issue and it's not the first time - o2 actively ignore complaints.

I had a complaint outstanding for 10 weeks regarding the same issue and lack of coverage and a billing issue. Opened a complaint with the Comms ombudsman and it was upheld in my favour. O2 then missed the deadline to implement the solution and the case was reopened and they were ordered to pay me £100 compensation.

Unfortunately, the device then blackscreened on 10th May and went for repair. I was promised a replacement if it occurred again and it has happened 3 times since.

O2 continue to ignore all complaints and my complaint has been outstanding from the same time period as yours.

I have now opened a complaint with the Financial Ombudsman service for O2's breach of a regulated consumer finance agreement. I will not be paying for a defective device, simply as O2 fail to meet their promises.

Bring your complaint to the regulator as unfortunately, it appears to be the only way O2 will address matters.

Regards
