Have failed completely to transfer existing IPhone7 SIM card to upgraded IPhone11 despite Customer Services people insisting it should fit. Have tried every possible way. Any advice?

It does fit but goes in upside down compared to the 7.

Just tried it again upside down. No luck. It won't slot in to the iPhone 11 SIM tray.

Look at the sim and you will see a corner which is cut off.

You need to align that with the same cut on the sim tray.

Honestly, it does fit when you have it the right way round.

Tried again. Inspected sim tray with a magnifying glass. No luck I'm afraid.

It can only be faulty then.
You'll need to return the phone for a replacement.
