2nd December i upgrade still not phone received I had message 8 days in a row same time daily 4:20 telling me there been a delay my daughter birthday 20tj will she have a phone come on 02 sort it out and tell us what this warehouse problem is don’t need this stress email complaint twice heard nothing back

I ordered my new iPhone on Saturday 7th December and it clearly said it will be delivered next day. Next day goes by... nothing.. Sunday no message, Monday - apologies there are some delays our courier will be in contact soon, this is not acceptable and MISLEADING.
Monday ... same message
Tuesday ..... same message
Wednesday ..... same message
O2 need to come up with a alternative solution or compensate customers for misleading them

As you have probably gathered, O2's warehouse was closed due to a chemical leak. We understand that has now been resolved and that they are trying to catch up.

Do you think we should all receive some composition or a free gift for them being so late mine was ordered on the 7th and all the same messages from o2 as you, I think we all should

Not sure how far you would get asking for compensation for a late delivery from O2, when the matter was completely beyond their control (ie evacuation of warehouse due to chemical leak?)
I'm just a customer like yourself and the last person to support o2 usually.

If you ask Customer Service @tyrrellsmultise, they can only say "no" ; and my guess is that you might get a modest credit on your account so it is worth a try.
You would be asking for a "credit as a gesture of goodwill". 👍
