When I open Voicemail I get the O2 speaking clock.

I have a Samsung S8 and moved across to O2 a few days ago. Yesterday, I spoke with a friend who told me that he had left a message on Voicemail. When I checked the Voicemail I was presented with the O2 speaking clock. I checked my Voicemail 3 more times and was left with the same situation i.e. O2 speaking clock.

Normally, I would press 3 to delete the message but I don't have this option because the speaking clock never stops! Can you please tell me what to do to sort out this problem. I was with 3 for many years and I never had a problem with my Voicemail. Look forward to hearing from someone who can help me. Thanks.

Hi @penzancesnapper

All you need to know about voicemail and setting up is here https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/All-you-need-to-know-about-O2-Voicemail-901/ba-p/547712

Did you move from Three?

Edited to add I see you did and that is the number for VM on three. Its 901 for O2. All in the link I posted.

If you have problems with it, you may have to ring customer services to reset it https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Open phone app and go into settings.
Look for voicemail number and change it to 901 <Press "save">
Your phone still has the old network voicemail number stored in it.
