These appear to be texts sent either from or much more likely to Tesco. By the looks of it is for home delivery reminders. Texts to most short codes are not inclusive of any allowances.

Do you order online from Tesco?

It does say on their site that they are free to receive?

Not sure what they cost to send?

Ah you may be right, I think I might have got a reminder so probably texted them to stop.  Thank you both!

If it is only one text you sent by the time you add vat that's £1 which seems alot.

Ahh here we go: http://www.tesco.com/updatetexts/

I've updated my Tesco account to have no mobile number, should've done that instead of sending the message to stop which turns out cost me.

Oh well, live and learn..

Happy to help and glad your issue is now solved even if it did cost you a gold nugget.

I had the same think reference a delivery from tesco. I complained via email (link on their site) and a young lady called me back apologetically and sent me a £5 voucher.

Sent email, don't really expect a reply but a £5 voucher would be a bonus!

Cheers.

Tesco will be keen to keep you as a customer so I would think you will get some form of apology, maybe a credit in your online account or a discount coupon for future home delivery contracts.
