I've recently been eligible for an upgrade to my tariff and have found one that suits my needs. I’m not quite sure how the process will work and whether I'll get charged as soon as I upgrade or when I usually get my bill.

If the option to upgrade id in My O2 and you are out of your minimum term, there will be no fee
Upgrade in tariff is done on your account and you keep the same simcard
It's very straight forward.

If you took the 12 or 18 months it would but you can just choose a 30 day sim.
