Hi,

As per the title, I received a text message today welcoming me to Nigeria and detailing my call charges yet I am in lockdown in the UK and have in fact never travelled to Nigeria.

I assume this could be some sort of fraud but it seems O2 don't class this as a priority issue when I tried to call 202.

Nothing is showing on my online bill in terms of call charges but I expect it would take a few days to see anything appear.

Any thoughts or should I not worry?

Thanks

As it was a text without a link, it does look as if it could be a scam. Follow the info here

Check your bank and My O2 for any unusual activity.

Block the number.

Forward the scam text to 7726 - It's free.

Thank you. I have forwarded to 7726. Strange thing is it originates from O2 Roaming as the sender. Is it possible that the Sim is somehow cloned, is that a thing?

Cheers
