I wanted to join your network again, after many years because I felt you had the best deals but after trying to contact you and being put on hold for over 40 minutes and ended not getting through on the phone number advertised on your website 8442020202 I was horrified to find out that I was charged £25.72 for this call, I'm angry disappointed and feel that I've been conned in trying to join your network, my trust to you has already been broken!!

@Bri2006 This is a customer community. No one here provided any numbers anywhere. If you have a complaint, call any of the numbers in the link above.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I fail to see how it's a con?
You should be aware of what you are charged to call all numbers on your tariff. If you don't check first, you can hardly blame someone else for your own mistakes.

Why not take this up with your current provider, who charge upwards of 30p per minute to call a 0844 number.

0844 numbers have never been free either...

AS others have said its your responsibility to check your current tariff for call charges same as you should always reads the T&C's ... Take it as a lesson learned and move on...

A little tip for future use a website such as saynotto0870.com to find free phone number alternatives...
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
