Re: Want to make life easier?

SV, all sound reasons and, as you say, people buy what suits them. I was just trying to say that I too thought all previous incarnations of the iPhone were rubbish, and that bit about people missing out only applies if that was the only reason they dismissed the IP4.

TBH I did consider the iP4 before going for the Galaxy S - because the latter was such a good deal in store.
I had an HTC Desire Z, which was great but unusable outdoors. So I wanted a bigger and better screen with similar speed of function. So went to a 4" screen from a 3.7" and the SuperAMOLED is just stunning.
As mentioned, I haven't actually seen the iP4 screen in use so I can't compare.
I used to be a sucker for the latest phone (hence this being my 39th since 1998) but I can't afford to do that any more so I study what I need and get the phone that "ticks the most boxes".
I have no problem with people saying they think their own devices are perfect for them, I just bridle at people (not you) saying "my phone is better than yours" because it's completely subjective.

Re: Want to make life easier?

The technology seems a bit backwards on an Iphone, but Apple seem to make people believe it's revolutionary and amazing. People are moving on to Android from IOs at an amazing rate now.

Re: Want to make life easier?

The main reason I don't have an iPhone is all my computers run Linux hence no access to iTunes

Good point, after all it's only a phone!
Mine cost a fraction of what they cost and I'm delighted with it.
On top of that it does more with more features too.

thats easy. because you only pay for it once. not every month, like a mortgage.
