Want to Keep Same Number, But End Contract?

Hello,

My Pay monthly contract ends later this month. I'm still yet to decide what to do. I was paying around £46 each month for my phone, but would prefer a better deal, and a bit less costly, though may honestly just do pay-as-you-go.

Anyway, whilst I'm still yet to decide, is there anyway I could keep the same number of my phone afterwards? I'm useless with technology haha. Thank you.

You don't have to do anything as your contract won't stop.

You will continue to pay the airtime part only in you are on refresh or the same amount if on a standard contract.

If the latter, you would be advised to switch to sim only whilst you decide your future.

Note, you can still upgrade at anytime from a sim only to a full refresh, but if going to PAYG, you would need to wait for the 12 months to complete or pay it off early.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Also some info can be found here

Only helpful in your case if you want to move to a different network and keep your number but if your contract is up and you are considering PAYG it is probably good to shop around. Though you may also want to consider sim only deals
