Since I upgraded to my new iPhone 12 last month, I receive almost daily messages telling me that I have a voicemail. The visual voicemail is empty, so I call Voicemail and am told that I have no new messages. The Voicemail icon (bottom right) has a red blob. What's occurring?

Call yourself from a landline and leave a message.

Listen to it from your mobile and then delete it.

This will clear the notifiction.

This cleared the notification, but I still don’t receive visual lists of voicemail; I have to call Voicemail to retrieve my messages. Why is this?

The most probable cause is that you don't have iData enabled on your account.

Call customer service to check.

You need to ask them to add iData for iPhone as a bolt on.
