So I signed up with Virgin Media for Broadband, TV and Mobile and they sent me an O2 sim. Im happy with O2 but cancelled my Virgin Media within the cooling off period - they have stated all services including the sim will be disconnected. When I tried to get my PAC for the sim ive been told there will be £416.83 of charges. I am happy to keep the sim but I dont know if Virgin Media cancels all aspects or just the VM aspects.

Any help appreciated.

I don't think VM can cancel the sim, only O2 can.

Check with customer service.

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Thanks

There's no charge if you cancel within 14 days.

Problem is, when the order was placed with Virgin Media, the o2 sim was sent first... so despite my 'Overall contract' start date being 5th December as stated on the contract, the O2 sim was active before that. I am happy to keep the O2 sim but Virgin Media said they will cancel all as a package within the cooling off.
