Hi,

 

Just got a new phone and brand new air time plan which is quoted as £22 per month.  Will that be £22 per month inclusive of VAT or will I be charged £26.40 per month. (£22 + VAT)

If you've bought it from the main website and not the business site then it will be inclusive of VAT

Customer tariffs are advertised inclusive of VAT but business tariffs are exclusive of VAT.

Alas, @MI5, O2 seem to have trouble enabling the VAT Invoice in MyO2, regardless of how many times you ask them.  Actually, perhaps I should fly that past the Social Media team, they seem to be generally quite clued-up on respondning to what the Customer asks for, rather than channelling you through a scripted response.

 

I suspect O2 Refresh further complicates matters, as part of the tariff is AirTime Plan costs (incurring VAT) and the other part is a Credit Repayment for the Device Plan - not sure if that has a VAT component...
