The £26 is including VAT
They have to show the VAT separately by law
Your first bill is pro rata as it includes the first couple of days before your bill is produced

VAT is included on all consumer contracts (not business) but your bill will show the breakdown without VAT and then with the addition of VAT.
The totall is the advertised price.
Your first bill is always a little higher as explained here https://www.o2.co.uk/help/account-and-billing/your-bill

@Baliinda As explained in the link I gave you, your first bill is always higher but subsequent bills will be the base tariff price, unless you have any use outside of your allowances.

As I stated, your first bill is higher due to it being pro rata
Next bill will be £2 unless you have any out of allowance charges
