VAT added to monthly contract

I am being charged VAT on top of my monthly contract price. I was never made aware that there would be added VAT. I thought that VAT could only be added to business contracts?

Thanks @pgn. Just signed in and it says I have no services available. Would that mean it’s not a business contract, do you know?

I have just checked Mobiles.co.uk website and they sell business contracts as well as consumer contracts.

So it seems you have to select one or the other?

It could, @JNB12 - equally it could mean O2's back-end processes have not caught up with you yet.

What exactly is the total price you are paying?

@jonsie £43.77 this month inc £6.53 in extras (no issues) and £7.29 VAT. Not my first month, started in February. Had assumed the higher total was the extras/first month etc so have only just realised.
