Using phone occasionally in the usa

I think I read that if you only occasionally use your o2 months pay sim in the USA it costs £6 a day each time. I also saw something indicating £2 a minute for calls. So —- wanted to find out which charge applies? Is I make a call or use a bit of data on one day whilst visiting us - will a £6 a day charge kick in or am I going to have a £30 for a 10 minute call?

Check on MyO2 if you have O2 Travel. In which case its £6 each day you use it.
