I’ve just received my latest bill and have been charged for overseas usage while in Indonesia. However I used WiFi ever day and dud the make calls. However someone called me from the uk very day although they didn’t use voicemail and I dint answer(it was not a number I know). Could this have caused the roaming charges?.

Without the travel bolt on you are charged the following:

When in:  Indonesia     Calling:  United Kingdom (UK)

Making calls - per minute£2.00
Receiving calls - per minute£2.00
Sending texts - per message50p

Cost per MB of using data:

Data usage£7.20*

If you do have the O2 travel bolt on, you shouldn't be charged for any incoming calls but without, any calls diverted to voicemail (call would be diverted when you didn't answer regardless of any message been left) would incur the £2.00 per min charge.

We always advise turning off VM before travelling abroad.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
