Hi @Anonymous If you use O2 travel you will be charged £1.99 a day for data texts and calls

http://www.o2.co.uk/help/pay-monthly/using-your-phone-abroad

https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/international/using-phone-in-europe

If you don't want to use O2 travel then make sure mobile data is turned off at all times and just use wifi for connecting to data....

Edited to add...This next link shows you standard travel costs (without O2 Travel)

If you intend to use data make sure you have O2 travel activated, otherwise it will cost you a fortune.
Check if the bolt on is enabled in your MyO2 or call CS to check.

Thanks. I don't intend to use data. Possibly just texts or maybe calls.

Just a few texts or calls would probably mean you are better off without O2 travel.

Use Tugo to call and text UK if you can get a wifi connection but do not use it on mobile data without the O2 Travel bolt on.

I would use TuGo over WiFi. I go to the Costa del Sol every 6 weeks or so....and never have a large bill at all..
