I've purchased a data-only eSim from Maya Mobile for use when I'm in Indonesia next month. Their website says that if I have my phone set for wifi calling then it will use the eSim data allowance for calling and therefore not be subject to O2's horrific roaming charges.
Is this the case with O2? It looks as though they don't allow this.

That's a shame. Doesn't surprise me, though.

But even in the UK WiFi Calling still uses your allowance. The call simply starts on WiFi rather than the mobile network, the rest of its path is the same
