Upgrading instore

Hi

I have a sim only 12 month contract and I have been told that I can upgrade anytime during the minimum contract term. 

First question. 

Do I have to do this over the phone or can I do this instore?

Second question

Do O2 stores take American Express?

Check in MyO2 for your upgrade options.

You can do it where you choose, don't know about Amex though.

O2 accept Amex online so they should accept it instore. Not sure about the first part of your query though as I was led to believe that O2 had to over-ride the system to upgrade during the 12 month anytime option.
