I’m due an upgrade in September but with o2 refresh I can upgrade now. Am I able to upgrade to a sim/data only plan instead of getting a new device?

Yes, just select SIM only tariffs in your upgrade options.

It will in September.

The early upgrade for customers coming from Carphone Warehouse only applies to a full refresh with phone plan.
