Upgrading from Pay & Go

Anonymous
Not applicable

I want to upgrade my Pay & Go phone to a Pay Monthly. Not sure how you find out if your phone is due for renewal?

Also I received a text msg today regarding this matter saying I can upgrade to the latest Nokia/Samsung etc. but went into a Carphone Warehouse and it says to contact O2, unable to upgrade??

You can upgrade a PAYG phone anytime you want. If you do it through O2 from PAYG to Contract you can transfer any PAYG balance as a credit onto your contract.
CPW can upgrade your PAYG by allowing you a discount on a new PAYG phone but they won't be able to process a PAYG to contract upgrade. But, you could just take out a contract on O2 from CPW.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

it is not a proper upgrade as you are payg. It is starting a new contract.

Pop into an o2 store and say you want to move from payg to monthly and they will assist you.

Or just start a new contract with cpw on o2 and use the keep my number form to move any credit and rewards to the pay monthly account and also keep your old number.
